Today. the winners of two competitions for the media were awarded in the briefing room of theRepublican Agency for Press and Mass Communications.
The contest was presented 317 works:76 television programs, 43 radio programs, 195 publications of print and online media, as well as 3 sketchs of advertising banners.
Farit Shagiakhmetov was awarded the highest award for the development of the country's media.

On December 23, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov congratulated OOO “Efir” TV company on receiving the award of Russian Government in the sphere of mass media 2014 for maintaining leadership positions for many years.
December 23, the Minister of Education and Science Engel Fattakhov awarded the winners of journalistic work for the best coverage of Education and Science of the Republic of Tatarstan.
The solemn ceremony of awarding of winners of the contests “Ecoleader” and “Man and nature” was held on December22 in Kazan at the trade and shopping center “Korston”.
As part of the award ceremony "Sportsman of the Year 2014" the representatives of media were awarded for the best coverage of sports events.
The magazine "Journalist" summed up 2014 and have chosen the six of the best authors of the publication.
