World Radio Day was originally proclaimed by UNESCO in 2011 as a day to remember the unique power of the medium to touch people’s lives and bring them together across every corner of the globe, and the organisation has released a statement to mark the occasion regarding why we love radio, and why we need it today more than ever.

Jeddah (UNA) – The Union of News Agencies of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (UNA) held a virtual workshop on Monday (November 11, 2024) entitled “The Pros and Cons of Artificial Intelligence in Creating News Content” in cooperation with Sputnik News Agency, with the wide participation of media professionals and specialists in the member states of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation.

The agency shall have an independent juridical personality and full legal capacity to act.
