The main functions:

• laying down branch production-technical development programs,
• participation in taking measures to improve development of the republican mass media and production base of the branch
• providing  all necessary technical documentation and methodical literature  to the structural subdivisions
• participation in work of republican, inter-republic, All-Russia, international organizations and conferences regarding issues pertained to the competence of the Agency.
