Turkvision 2014 selection round to take place in September in Kazan

A selection round within the 2nd international song contest Turkvision 2014 will take place at 6 pm on 20 September at Piramida centre in Kazan within the Kazan Turkic World’s 2014 Culture Capital programme.
The Turkvision contest first took place in 2013 in Eskisehir, featuring performers from 24 countries. The second international TV Turkic world song contest will be held in Kazan.
The selection round will be held in the form of a concert and broadcast live by the Maidan TV channel.
The Turkvision contest gala is scheduled for 21 November, reports the Tatarstan Culture Ministry’s press service.
